Heavy on insurance-recovery salvage and ex-fleet wholesale. Manheim's Simulcast platform runs live auctioneer sales; the Industrial division handles trucks, plant, and yellow-iron. Non-salvage sales mostly carry clean-title fleet, finance, and dealer-trade vehicles.
How the auction runs
Simulcast = live (auctioneer-driven, real-time SignalR-backed bidding from the yard). BidNow / Industrial timed = online-only with rolling close times. Both platforms publish a sale calendar by division.
Getting started as a buyer
Manheim account with completed buyer verification. Bidding deposits apply for higher-value lots; trade and dealer accounts skip some verification steps.
Buyer fees
Buyer fees are tiered by hammer price and differ between Simulcast (live) and BidNow (timed) sales. Industrial sales carry their own fee schedule.
