Where does the pricing data come from?
From active, in-stock listings across Australian dismantlers and wreckers. For each part category we show the median price (the typical middle figure) plus the typical range (the middle 50% of prices) and how many listings that figure is based on.
Are these prices exact quotes?
No — they are median asking prices and a guide only. Actual prices vary by condition, mileage, location and shipping. Use the range and sample count to judge how firm each figure is.
Can I use this to budget a project-car build?
